“The Family Flower Garden" is a new series where I explored 3D forms using wood, paint, oil pastels and clay. This personal journey is focused on three family members, each represented by a flower through multiple life mementos. The project delved into the energies that shaped me, preserving ancestral connections and portraying universal family relations. Rooted in a strong connection to ancestry, my intent was to commend those before me. By crafting stories through visual details, I aimed to showcase shared human characteristics, serving as a mark in our lineage and presenting factual evidence to honor and acknowledge my family's existence.
There is street parking on Mountain St., Yale St. and Painter St.
